If I have any advice for you when you get engaged, it is to PLEASE do an engagement photoshoot. Engagement sessions document such an exciting new chapter in your lives. And it’s such a great opportunity to make a fun day out of it. Sam and Will came to me about shooting their North Beach Engagement Session and I was so excited because they wanted it to be a walk down memory lane of their relationship. We wandered around North Beach and visited all of their favorite spots that were significant in their relationship.

An Intentional & Meaningful North Beach Engagement Session

Sam and Will wanted their engagement session to be super meaningful and intentional. Each location they chose marked a significant moment in their relationship and you could truly see how much that meant to them during their session. 

Hotel Bar Engagement Photos

Our first stop was their first date spot at the Top of the Mark Hopkins Hotel. It was romantic and classy and just perfect for some hotel bar engagement photos. She wore the most beautiful satin white dress with puff sleeves and a big white bow in her hair that complimented his navy suit perfectly. They seriously looked so good! 

As we headed to their next location, I followed behind them to capture some stunning downtown San Francisco engagement photos. I wanted them to feel like they were on a date. They walked in the streets, posed in the alleyways, and truly just enjoyed one another’s company. 

North Beach Engagement Photos

Our next location was North Beach which was the neighborhood where Sam and Will shared their first kiss and first apartment together. They enjoyed some drinks at a local bar and stopped for a slice of pizza, and shared memories with one another of their times there. 

This session was so special because we got to run around all the places that hold so much significance to their relationship. These are photos that they will look back on years from now and truly cherish. Their young love captured and frozen in time and at a place that means so much to them. 

We had so much fun getting to relive the first moments of their love story all over again.
