First off, thank you for being here. It means so much to me that you are here, looking at my work and learning about me.
I've always wanted to be a photographer and to be able to call this my full time job is an absolute dream come true. Creating captivating, authentic images just sets my soul on fire and I have so much gratitude for this art. I love capturing moments. I'm the girl who takes my film camera everywhere I go because I just want to look back and remember what I was feeling in that moment. I love being able to look at a photo and travel back in time.
Being a photographer has allowed me to find the moments of beauty in everyday life and there is nothing I love more than allowing people to see themselves as a piece of art.

Behind The Lens
There is something almost magic about having a camera in my hand. It’s my superpower.
While i’m normally a shy, quiet girl who avoids talking to strangers, when i have my camera in my hand I’m able to tap into the highest version of myself and really come alive.
Connection is everything to me. I make my best work when I connect with who is on the other side of the camera. I crave deep, intimate connection and conversations and I’m constantly chasing the big feelings. You know the ones I’m talking about. Chasing sunsets. Barefoot running. Impromptu dancing. Uncontrollable laughter. Heart connections. Feeling the music in your chest. The moments when all of your senses are activated. The moments that you keep tucked away for when you need a reminder of just how beautiful this life can be.
I want to be your friend first, photographer second. I want to connect with you. Laugh with you. Get chills watching the sunset with you. I want to dance with you and talk about the hard stuff with you. I promise you, connecting with your photographer is so so important. Connection is what takes your photos from looking beautiful to feeling beautiful.

What Inspires Me
My passion for photography started at a young age. I first remember falling in love with the art when I was 10 years old, shooting on my little pink point and shoot in Yosemite. From then, I was hooked. My entire life I was constantly finding opportunities to create. I learned the technicalities of photography through shooting film, so I have a deep understanding and a passion for the technical side of photography. Photography has truly changed the way I see the world, and I have so much gratitude for that. I am so much more mindful of all of the subtle beauty in our world. I'm a true believer there is beauty everywhere.
I'm inspired by mamma earth and all her beauty so I'd say my style is pretty earthy. But truly, I'm inspired by so many things. All things vintage make my little hippie heart so happy, so my shooting has a bit of a vintage feel to it as well.
I'm inspired by capturing REAL, raw emotions. My favorite part of this job is the ability to deliver something tangible for you to relive your day for years and generations to come.

MY PHILOSOPHY
MY PHILOSOPHY
I think we can all agree that getting your photo taken is not always the most fun. I have a camera in my hand 90% of my life and even I still hate getting in front of the camera. That's why my philosophy is to just have fun with it! I'll give you fun little prompts and movements to help you get out of your head and into the moment. Nobody knows what to do with their hands, let's just agree on that. But my shooting approach will ensure you aren't in your head thinking to yourself, "do I look weird?", "are my hands weird?" etc. I'll be capturing the genuine moments between you two.

Megan is so chill and easy to talk to. Her sessions are all about making the client as comfortable as possible and she will absolutely hype you up to make you feel more confident! She also sends out guides that she made to help you prepare for your session which is sooo helpful! .

Neither of us are incredibly comfortable in front of a camera, but Megan has an amazing ability to bring a sense of comfortability. When we shot with her, it felt like hanging out with a friend for the day. She has a great eye for different scenery/poses and really helps you feel comfortable throughout the session.
