Experience

I know that I may not be the right photographer for everyone, and that's okay. I want your experience with me to be fun, empowering, and leave you feeling so good.
Take some time to read through my approach and see if you vibe with it. It's so important to me that we're on the same page. Being in front of the camera is weird, I know that, and I want to do do all that I can to make this process as easy and seamless and possible.

The

01. True to you / authentic moments

I consider myself a documentary style photographer, because that’s what I do - I document the day as it unfolds. I’m not the photographer that will perfectly pose you and make sure all the hairs are flat and the dress is laying perfectly. I’m not going for perfection. I’m going for REAL. I focus heavily on capturing everything as authentically as possible. Because let’s be real, I could delicately pose you and perfectly set the scene and create a beautiful image, but at the end of the day, that image won’t hold any emotion. It will be a forced, fake photograph. There’s something so much more powerful about capturing the real, messy, emotional moments. The beauty of photography is that life is art, and I just get to put it in a time capsule.

02. Connection / Trust

By now you should know, connection is everything to me. I can’t do the fake stuff, the surface level stuff. Having a connection with you is what allows me to take your photos from looking beautiful to feeling beautiful. I really do create my best work when I feel comfortable around you, and you feel comfortable around me. It’s amazing how much more confident and creative I feel when I know that there is connection and trust in the relationship.

03. Investing in Memories

Maybe it’s just me, but when I look at a photograph that was taken 100 years ago, I get emotional. I really believe that there are few things more powerful than being able to freeze time with the click of a button. I always say, I’m a record keeper above all else. I keep record of these beautiful moments so that when the day is all said and done, you have something to look back at for years to come. Something to pass down to future generations. At the end of the day, your photographs are the only thing that you get to walk away with, and it’s important that you find the right person to keep record of the little moments for you and your loved ones.

04. The Process

Step one. The Inquiry.
This is my first opportunity to connect with you. I absolutely love getting to read through these, and it helps me get a feel for you and what you’re planning. I try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours, because I know you are antsy to learn more.

Step 2. We meet and chat
I’m telling you right now, I won’t move forward with the booking process unless we have a video chat. As I’ve mentioned before, connection is everything to me, and connecting with people is just too hard to do via email. I want to spend the time to get to know you and see your eyes light up when you talk to each other. I want to hear about your visions and inspirations! And of course, I’ll answer any questions you may have.

Step 3. We book!
Once we’ve had a proper chat and decided on the best package for you, I’ll send over my proposal with a contract and invoice. Once the 30% deposit is paid and the contract is signed, I’m yours for the day! I’ll send over my wedding guide to help with the planning process and we’ll keep in communication to keep buildin’ that connectio baby.

Step 4. We capture the magic.
By now we’ve gotten to know each other, have a clear vision for the day, and it’s time to make that freakin’ magic.
